I am in need of a payment extension. I have spoken to several people who were unable to help me. I am a teacher and I am on a 10 month contract, so I don't receive a salary in summer. I called and spoke with someone when I made a $300 payment last month that ensured me I could push my balance out until 8/25 of this month until I could pay my balance. Great. No problem. I do exactly as the csr tells me to do, call to push it out and now if I don't pay $429 I'm going to be disconnected. I don't have it, however I will in 15 days. I would think that after 11 years of service with a company an additional 15 days would not be a huge deal. Wrong!
Is there anyone who actually values the customer anymore? I clearly value my relationship as I've stayed with att despite enticing offers to leave. Is there a department to call since I've exhausted my resources with their "Payment experts"?
11 years is a long time to sever a business relationship. It doesn't seem to matter att where I am being treated like a number.
