Hello. My name is Somer, name on the account is Shana , last four ****. I just had a quick question! I switched over from an iPhone to the Samsung Galaxy s5 a little over a year ago. Shortly after I did so on my bill I noticed "iPhone video voice mail", so I called to question. I was told it's just the monthly phone line fee. Okay, no big deal! Well, since I switched over to the Samsung I noticed my WiFi never worked. I assumed it was something I was doing wrong. Fast forward to 2-3 weeks ago, I was having a technical error with my phone. I called 611 and while I was getting my problem resolved the agent asked if my Internet worked. I said "Why do you ask"? He explained to me that iPhone and Samsung, apparently, have different Internet operating systems, and that's why my WiFi hasn't worked. Now, here's my dilemma. I've paid Lord only knows how much in overages, $15 a gig (that I didn't get to keep any of when my new cycle started, even though I paid for it), and the whole time I've had access to WiFi in the house I live in. I can't prove any of this, as I don't have the agent's name from a year ago. This is by no means an attempt for any kind of hand out, just wanted to kind of make you guys aware of the fact. I do, however, feel slightly cheated due to this agent's inability to change "iPhone" to "Samsung" in the data base. On the other hand, I'm glad it has been resolved.
