Very Disappointed - Lots of promises of a return phone calls and still waiting......

In November I purchased an Ipad and wanted to change my data plan from another Ipad(old) to my new on. The sales rep at the AT&T store told me how lucky I was that they were having a deal and if you signed up for a two year contract you got a credit of $100. WOW- lucky day right! That I would see this on my bill. Off to a vacation with my new Ipad only to find out no service! That nothing had been changed. When I returned to the store I now have two Ipads on account (ARGH). After A LOT of trying to sale me on their security system. They final hooked me up with a hot spot that I really do not need and additional data that I could use. At this time I just wanted my Ipad to work. When I asked about the $100 dollars, I was told that it would take 6 to 8 weeks and I would see it on my bill.

 

Well- I am a teacher and this has been my first day that that I have had time to sit on the phone (I knew that it would take some time) - I call only to be told after a 20 to 30 min. wait while they reviewed my account and another 30 min. go back and forth with the manager that if I could fax them a copy of the receipt I could possibly get my $100. I called back to see if I could email them a copy -NOPE. I then explained my situation to this sales rep who told me that basically that she could not help me and did not see any promotion- I go from one maybe to NO! I ask for a manager  wait for 20 min. Who again informed me that all she could do was have me go to the store with my receipt. (Which I would have done - If the salesman there would have not told me at that time it was a rebate given directly by ATT&T). I explained this and told her that I was not happy with this situation. She asked if she could call me back in 30 min. after researching my account. SURE. During this time I called the store and was told that there would be nothing they could do even if I brought the receipt in. I called again 80 min. later to complain that I had not heard anything- if the answer was no it was no. I really would have appreciated some contact. This sales person assured me that she would pass on my message and apologized and that I would be getting a phone call shortly. NO PHONE CALL.

I have been a customer for years- this is not only bad service it is basically a days worth waiting-for nothing!
