I have never been a defaulter for all the three years of my association with AT&T and I have five lines on my account.
I received a mail from AT&T collection agency sayying I am past due of $30.87 for one of the lines that I have changed from prepaid to postpaid in Nov 2014. I have never received a phone call nor a letter from AT&T all these days (good 6 months+) except letter from collection agency today...so annoying and disgusting
First of all, when converting from prepaid to postpaid I was not told that I have to pay any charges for converting
Secondly, why didnt the AT&T tried to call me or send a letter or atleast sending an email about this?
I rang AT&T customer care and spoke with a so called AT&T customer care professional who was not helpful at all nor atleast trying to help...
He said because they are having incorrect service address on prepaid line, letters were not reaching me..and if that is the case, how can i be held responsible?
To all other customers of AT&T, please be careful with AT&T, keep checking the monthly mobile bills that AT&T send it to you, check for any unconfirmed, untold charges..
I am now seriously contemplating to switch to other network carrier..i dont want to care the service providers who does not care for their customers and my sincere and honest advice to other AT&T customers is to rethink their idea of living with costly AT&T services..
