I bought a new iphone a few months back. They said I would have a one time fee of $50 which was fine. I got an email saying I needed to pay my bill. So I logged on and paid my "due immediatly" balance which was around $90. Then a week later I got an email saying I needed to pay my bill. I logged back on and There was the new bill up for $147 which was with the one time charge I suppose. I didn't have the money to pay it right then so i figured it'd be ok if I waited a week.
Wrong. Today my service was suspended and my bill wasn't even a month late. So I had to make a payment imediately to get my service turned back on and NOW i'll have a $40 charge on my next bill to "restore service" . Not to mention I didn't have enough to cover the $147 bill so in order to make the payment I had to overdraft my bank account. Which will be another $37 charge from my bank. So this one time payment has litterally cost me $130. Bunch of crooks. I've been with ATT almost 10 years now and they cut my service off like that! Ten years of loyalty doesn't buy me a few extra weeks? OR months. They should never cut it off as clearly I'm good for it. I'm done. As soon as this two year contract is up I'm switching to another company. Maybe sooner actually.
