I'm trying to get an explanation on why the Universal Service Charge and Regulatory Cost Recovery Charges have been fluctuating UP on our wireless bills over the last few months. Service representatives try to pass it off as "government taxes and fees outside their control", yet it specifically states on the back of every bill that AT&T imposes these charges and that they "are not taxes or government-required charges". Over 10 years with Verizon, and we never had a change in our bill each month. Only with AT&T for less than 6 months, the bill has changed twice without notice or explanation, and no one can explain why? Hardly acceptable...
