Jonathan : why would I spend hours on the phone to resolve an issue and then leave it unresolved? I use my phone for business and now once again my service has been suspended over an error on att side

Jason : Hi Jonathan! I do apologize about your past experience with the previous representative but now that you have me I can definitely assist you with your concern today.

Jonathan : it just boils down to the fact I have lost all confidence in what im told by att reps

Jason : Jonathan, base on your notes left by the representative that you've had interactions with, it shows that you mentioned the you will be paying the $200 at the store And the set up the arrangement for teh remaining balance. COrrect?

Jonathan : yes and i did just that

Jason : Can you tell me when did you amde any payment?

Jonathan : in addition to that agreement i was supposed to be bumped up to the 3gb data plan but get an additional 1gb at no cost and my current bill was supposed to be "taken care of"

Jonathan : the same day I made the arrangement is when I paid the $200

Jonathan : the agreement was made by a chat agent

Jason : Can you tell me the exact date you made teh arrangement and payment?

Jonathan : 12/07/2014

Jonathan : at 2:30pm

Jason : Jonathan. Looking at your line when you made a payment of $200 on 12/08 The total amount of your bill that time was $574.28.

Jason : This includes your past due balance of $309.63 and the current balance of $264.65. Now making the payment of $200 will only make it down to just $374.28. I can see teh payment arrangement you set up for your remaining past due balance of $109.63 to be due last 12/08.

Jonathan : incorrect

Jason : However you failed to make the payment for the arrangement. And now that you current balance is now past due. It added on your past due balance making your total amount of $339.28 now.

Jonathan : also incorrect

Jonathan : if I paid on 12/07 why would I make an arrangement for the next day? if I had the money I would have paid.I never failed to make a payment that I made an arrangement for because the date I said I would come in to make it is not even here yet

Jonathan : and my bill shouldn't be 339 it should be 139

Jason : That is correct. However the point is you still have some remaining balance on your past due and since you made arrangement on it but you failed to pay it Jonathan.

Jason : 339 because you the current balance plus the remaining past due balance.

Jonathan : that was the arrangement sir. I was to come in and pay $200 then I was to come back in on the 28th with the remaining 139

Jonathan : and the current bill was supposed to be "taken care of" per live chat agent agreement

Jason : I doa pologize but you need to settle down the past due balances first JOnathan before we can take care of the current balance.

Jonathan : im only telling you what I was told

Jonathan : I did what I agreed upon that day and now my service is off anyway

Jason : Jonathan, we can take care of the current balance but you need to settle everything first to make your account current and restored.

Jonathan : If I could take care of the past due I wouldn't have needed to ask for an arrangement now would i

Jason : Jonathan, setting another payment arrangement is not an option now since oyu have failed the first one. ANd that your account is now suspended.

Jonathan : dude I didn't fail to make the first one what is your problem, ive been telling you that the whole time

Jonathan : if I called in to make an arrangement on the 7th and paid on the 7th how is that failing to pay

Jason : You did not fail paying teh $200 but what you failed paying is the arrangement you've made Jonathan.

Jonathan : ok what day did you say i made the $200 payment

Jason : 12/07.

Jonathan : ok and now youre saying that I made an arrangement to pay the remaining the next day? who does that? if i had the money to pay on the 7th why wouldn't I pay it all? or just make the arrangement to pay in full the next day

Jonathan : obviously someone made a mistake because that agreement is not even logical

Jonathan : and att reps will never admit when theyre wrong

Jonathan : if they were willing to make an arrangement on the 7th to pay partial why wouldn't they go one more day for full payment

Jason : I do apologize for that Jonathan, but we base it here on what  we can see on the note you ahve on your account.

Jonathan : I understand its ok for you reps to make mistakes and the customers have to pay.

Jonathan : silly don't you think

Jason : Not really Jonathan.

Jonathan : if someone types an agreement and hits the wrong button for the date its still my fault, wow , that's pretty nice of you.

Jonathan : way to stand by your customers

Jonathan : I will be posting this conversation on the forums so everyone can see the outcome of it

Jonathan : I cant wait to see the responses

Jason : I understand and respect how you feel Jonathan.

Jonathan : then do something about it

Jonathan : because right now I cant respect what youre telling me

Jason : Jonathan i understand, but for you to restore your account please settle down the total past due balance.

Jason : Would there be anything else that I can assist you with?

Jonathan : well thanks for not being able to help me today. I will now be on my way over to T-Mobile because att does not admit any fault in this issue nor are they willing to resolve the problem. I clearly pointed out several things that didn't make any sense on that agreement. no that will be everything.

Jason : I understand how you feel Jonathan. But just to set your expectation, if you change your network provide you will have to cancel your AT&T wireless account. And if all lines are still under a contract you will be paying the Early Termination Fee on each line plus the current balance and the final bill on your account.

Jonathan : T-Mobile has offered to buy out my early termination fees, just to let you know theres nothing keeping me with att. I even get to keep my number

Jason : I understand.

Jonathan : so no i wont be paying

Jonathan : and i doubt you understand

Jason : But you will still be paying the current balance and the final bill of your account.

Jonathan : nope

Jonathan : send it to collections i'll die a happy person knowing your compant will never receive another dime from me

Jonathan : *company

Jason : Oh but Jonathan, not paying your bill will result and reflect your credit standing.

Jonathan : don't care I have great credit so you little bill wont cause problems. have a good robbing people and making excuses for your un educated customer service reps

Jason : I understand. Would there be anything else that I can assist you with?

Jonathan : I already told you no but you keep trying to get me to stay
