Second account under my name...not mine

Hi

I am an AT&T customer for at least few years now. I don't know what to at this point.
I called att bussines customer service to change my bill of responsibility to my wife's account. I had 3 line under one account by my name but I want to take my line to my wife's account and the other two on my bother in laws name. Customer reps does all explanation, checked my account before doing the process, I think it took her quite time to get back to me, but once she got back, I was in for a surprise. Customer rep told me that before I want to confirm the process I have to pay my past due. I was like yes I can make the payment via debit card, and customer rep resonded 1st bill is $957 and other one is 80$. Wow that is surprise, I didn't know what to say and what to do at this point, even if you look at my AT&T history I only three line under one account and I don't know anything bout this other account with $957. I called the debt collector office, but could not get any solution out of it. I tried explaining to the customer rep that why would I open another account if I have wireless line with AT&T.

Please help me deal with this issue, I am willing to provide any information but I don't want this debt collection showing up in my credit report.
