I left AT&T for a number of reasons one of which being a family member not being able toreach me in an emergency although I had my phone on and with me.....his many calls kept going to voice mail. I live in a large metropolitan area so there is no excuse for not having coverage. I left on December 18 and ATT billed in advance following my termination of services. They refuse to refund my for the period of unused service after my date of termination. I can see paying for services up to my termination date, but I wonder just how legal it is for them to keep the remainder of the money through the end of the billing period when I know longer have services with AT&T. I find this billing practice unethical and disturbing and I want to file a complain with the FCC and consumer protection agency. Has anyone else had a similar experience and filed complaints? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
